Cornelius Gerrard Knaap and his wife Adriaantje Heerebout came to Canada  from Holland with thier four children Cornelius, Barend, Andy and Marjory. Adriaan (Andy also known as Eddy) Knaap married Vera Louise sister of Mable Fountian and Bill Beard one of three children of Archie Beard and Ruth Careless of Fergus Ontario.  Eddy and Vera were the parents of six children Archie, June, Isabelle, Donald, Billy and Louis plus a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
